Annual Member Budget Meeting

I would like to thank everyone who attended the annual budget meeting that was held on Sunday October 30th. It was a very productive meeting.

Ballot issues included:

  1. 2017 Proposed Budget
  2. Nominations and Elections for the Community Board
  3. Elections to Board Office

We required a minimum of 32 votes to reach quorum. We had 38 votes (including absentee ballots).

38 of 38 voted to accept the budget. This budget includes adjustments to allow for a larger allowance for snow removal, tax increases, and a $10 lot rent increase. Budget outlines are available at the office.

The 2017 member lot rent will be:

$395.00 for Singlewide (was $385)
$405.00 for Doublewide (was $395)

The 2017 non-member* lot rent will be:
$420.00 for Singlewide (was $410)
$430.00 for Doublewide (was $420)
* Residents who chose not to opt-in to cooperative membership at founding, or otherwise lost their membership. New residents must enroll in cooperative membership.

These figures are before any School Tax Credit (STAR) benefits, if eligible.

Dennis Jakubowski was re-elected to the Community Board, and re-appointed as Board President.
Karen Kasinski was re-elected to the Community Board, and re-appointed as the Board Treasurer
David Hall was re-elected to the Community Board, and re-appointed as the Site Operations Director.
Paulette Schloss was re-elected to the Community Board as Member-at-Large.
